Emerald’s Service has a fairly straightforward plot. This was originally written for a shorts collection in a much shorter form. The first and final scenes were there, but much of Utami’s processing was newly written for this version. Poor Utami did not have anyone to turn to for help! A number of classic mcstories were very influential in the scenes, both pre-brainwashing and post-brainwashing, between Utami and Minuro.

A few readers have noticed that Utami has the same last name as Yoshiko from Feminine Obedience Academy: Yoshiko. This is true and they are sisters. Will they ever interact? Probably not, but perhaps in her current state Emerald may interact with someone from FOA being sent to a pleasure resort for further training…
